While in Japan, I worked as a freelancer on several projects, including with Tora Film Studio, where I began as a gaffer and advanced to 1st Assistant Director. My responsibilities covered location scouting, crew and talent management, and directing background talent to ensure seamless integration while the director focused on principal actors. I collaborated closely with the director and production team to oversee and guide the shoot, assisted during post-production with editing, sound, and visual enhancements, and conducted casting to align extras with production requirements. I also led the scouting and securing of filming locations, balancing aesthetic goals with logistical needs. In addition, I was working on two freelance projects titled State of Siege and Death Bound, which were unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19.
